Terms of Service

Effective date: August 26, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and TCGVendr (“the app”, “we”). By creating an account or using the app you accept them, together with the Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.

1. What TCGVendr is (and isn’t)

TCGVendr is a discovery platform for trading-card shows: vendors publish previews of inventory they plan to bring, attendees browse and search it, and users can signal interest and message each other. TCGVendr is not a marketplace: you cannot buy or sell a card in the app, and there is no cart, payment, shipping, or escrow for one. Any transaction you arrange is made in person, at your own judgment, directly with the other party. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for it. The only thing you can pay for in the app is a Pro subscription, covered in section 8.

Prices shown in the app are either asking prices a seller typed in or market estimates from Scrydex, our catalog and pricing provider. Market estimates are built from recent sales and listings elsewhere, they can be wrong or out of date, and a card is worth what someone will actually pay for it. Treat every number in the app as information, not a valuation or investment advice.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old. You can browse and add cards before you sign up, on an anonymous account tied to your install. Publishing a table, RSVPing, marking “Interested”, messaging, and reporting all require signing up.

You can sign up with an emailed one-time code, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. There is no TCGVendr password, so whichever account you signed up with is the key to yours. Keep it secure, because anyone who has it can get in.

Signing up keeps the anonymous account you were already using, along with everything in it. Signing in to an account you already have switches you to that account and deletes the anonymous one and its data. The app tells you which one is about to happen.

You’re responsible for activity on your account, and the information you provide must be yours and accurate.

3. Your content

You own the content you create: inventory entries, listings, show submissions, messages, and your profile. You grant us the license needed to host that content and show it to the people the app’s visibility rules allow, which the Privacy Policy spells out. Note that the cards in your collection are browsable by other users unless you hide them. You’re responsible for what you publish: listings should describe cards you actually possess and intend to bring.

4. Community rules

These rules exist so the app stays useful and safe. Content or behavior that breaks them may be removed, and accounts may be suspended or terminated. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Do not:

  • Harass, threaten, or demean other users, or send unwanted contact after being asked to stop;
  • Post content that is hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable;
  • Scam, mislead, or attempt to defraud, including listing counterfeit or stolen cards, or misrepresenting condition or grading;
  • Spam: bulk unsolicited messages, fake listings, fake shows, or manipulation of interest/match signals;
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation with a vendor, show, or organizer;
  • Use the app for anything illegal, or attempt to probe, overload, or circumvent its security and visibility rules.

5. Safety tools and moderation

The app gives you these tools:

  • Block anyone from the menu in a conversation. Blocking works both ways: they can no longer message you, and you disappear from each other’s collections, Matches and inbox. Your blocked list lives in Settings → Privacy.
  • Report a message by long-pressing it. The app offers to block the sender in the same step.
  • Report a profile, a table, or a card from the button in that screen’s header.
  • Report anything else through Settings → About → Report a problem, or email support@tcgvendr.com.

We review reports promptly, generally within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these rules and, where warranted, the accounts that posted it.

6. Shows and third-party information

Show listings are community-submitted and reviewed before publication, but details (dates, venues, hours) can change outside our control. Verify with the organizer before traveling. Card names, images, and related trademarks belong to their respective owners (including The Pokémon Company and other game publishers); TCGVendr is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Catalog and pricing data is provided by third parties and may contain errors.

7. Termination

You can stop using TCGVendr at any time and delete your account in Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion is permanent, and the Privacy Policy lists what goes and what stays. Deleting your account does not cancel a Pro subscription, since Apple bills that; cancel it in iOS Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create risk for other users, or abuse the service.

8. TCGVendr Pro subscriptions

Everything described in section 1 is free to use. TCGVendr Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription. It unlocks:

  • Unlimited card scanning. Free accounts get 25 scans per rolling seven days.
  • Real card photos. Replace the stock catalog art with photos of your actual cards.
  • Market insights and sales breakdowns. Top movers, sell-through, and profit on every sale.
  • Full price history. Free stops at one month. Pro opens every range.
  • The Pro badge on your profile and your tables.

The terms of the subscription:

  • Price. $44.99 per year or $7.99 per month in the US. Prices in other regions are set by Apple and shown at checkout.
  • Free trial. New subscribers get 7 days free. If you cancel before the trial ends you are not charged.
  • Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. We never see or handle your card details.
  • Renewal. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period end.
  • Managing it. Turn off auto-renew or cancel at any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the paid period runs out.
  • Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple, so refund requests go through Apple rather than us.
  • Without an account. You can subscribe before you sign up. The subscription belongs to your Apple ID, so “Restore purchases” brings it back on a new device. Your collection is different: it only survives a new phone if you have signed up.

If you cancel or your subscription lapses, your account and everything in your collection stay put. Only the Pro features switch off.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of pricing or show data, and uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we’ll update this page and the effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of the operator’s residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
