TCGVendrTerms of Service
Effective October 4, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and TCGVendr (“the app”, “we”). By creating an account or using the app you accept them, along with the Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
1. What TCGVendr is, and what it isn’t
TCGVendr helps people find cards at trading-card shows. Vendors publish the cards they plan to bring to a show, collectors track their collections and can share the cards they’re bringing, and anyone can browse, favorite and message.
TCGVendr is not a marketplace. You can’t buy or sell a card in the app, and there’s no cart, payment, shipping or escrow. Any deal you arrange happens in person, at your own judgment, directly with the other person. We aren’t a party to it and aren’t responsible for it. The only thing you can pay for in the app is TCGVendr Pro (section 8).
Prices in the app are either prices a person typed in or market values from Scrydex, our catalog and pricing provider. Market values come from sales and listings elsewhere, and they can be wrong or out of date. A card is worth what someone will actually pay for it. Treat every number in the app as information, not as an appraisal or investment advice.
2. Your account
You must be at least 13 to use TCGVendr, and you need an account. You can sign in with an emailed one-time code, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google, and you’ll choose a display name and your home state. There’s no TCGVendr password, so the email or Apple or Google account you sign in with is the key to your TCGVendr account. Keep it secure.
You’re responsible for what happens on your account, and the information you give us has to be yours and accurate.
3. Your content
You own what you create: your profile, collection, tables, the cards you bring, show submissions and messages. You give us the permission we need to store that content and show it to the people the app’s visibility rules allow, which the Privacy Policy spells out. Your collection is visible to other users unless you hide a card.
You’re responsible for what you publish. Tables and the cards you say you’re bringing should be cards you actually have and plan to bring, described honestly.
4. Community rules
These rules keep the app useful and safe. Content or behavior that breaks them may be removed, and accounts may be suspended or closed. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Don’t:
- Harass, threaten or demean anyone, or keep contacting someone after they’ve asked you to stop.
- Post content that is hateful, sexually explicit, violent or otherwise objectionable.
- Scam or mislead people, including listing counterfeit or stolen cards or misrepresenting condition or grading.
- Spam: bulk unwanted messages, fake tables, fake shows, or gaming favorites, follows or Going lists.
- Pretend to be someone else, or claim a connection to a vendor, show or organizer you don’t have.
- Use the app for anything illegal, or try to probe, overload or get around its security and visibility rules.
5. Safety tools and moderation
- Block someone from the menu in your conversation with them. Blocking works both ways: they can’t message you, and you disappear from each other’s collections, favorites and inbox. You can unblock people in Settings, Privacy, Blocked users.
- Report a message by pressing and holding it. The app offers to block the sender at the same time.
- Report a profile or a table from the menu at the top of that screen.
- Report anything else through Settings, About, Report a problem, or email support@tcgvendr.com.
We review reports promptly, usually within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these rules and, where it’s warranted, the accounts that posted it.
6. Shows and outside data
Shows are submitted by users and organizers and reviewed before they’re published, but dates, venues, hours and entry fees can change without notice. Check with the organizer before you travel. Catalog and price data comes from outside providers and may contain mistakes. Card names, images and related trademarks belong to their owners, including The Pokémon Company and other game publishers. TCGVendr isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by them.
7. Ending your account
You can stop using TCGVendr at any time and delete your account in the app under Settings, Account, Delete account. Deletion is permanent, and the Privacy Policy lists what’s removed and what stays. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a monthly or yearly Pro subscription, because Apple bills it, so cancel that in iOS Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, put other users at risk, or abuse the service.
8. TCGVendr Pro
TCGVendr is free to download and use. TCGVendr Pro is an optional one-time purchase that adds:
- Unlimited scanning. Without Pro you get 25 card scans and 10 slab scans in any rolling seven days. A slab counts as a slab scan in any scan mode.
- Price alerts: a push when a card hits your price. Without Pro you can watch 3 cards at a time.
- Collection report and export: what your cards gained since you added them, and a spreadsheet of your whole collection.
- Master set binders: every card of a set in its pocket, and the cost to finish it. Without Pro you can preview a set.
- Full price history: every range on every card’s price graph. Without Pro, graphs cover up to three months.
- Real card photos: photos of your own cards in place of the catalog art.
- Real slab photos: PSA’s own photo on every PSA slab you add. Without Pro, your first 10 PSA slabs get one and the rest show a drawn slab.
- The Pro badge on your profile, your Base and your tables.
The purchase terms:
- Price. $29.99 once in the US. Apple sets prices in other regions and shows them at checkout.
- Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. We never see or handle your card details.
- Lifetime. Pro stays on your account for as long as TCGVendr runs. Nothing renews and there’s nothing to cancel. Pro covers the Pro features the app offers at the time, which can change as the app does.
- Fair use. Scanning is for your own cards. If an account’s scanning looks automated, or goes far past what one person’s collection needs, we may pause it for a while.
- Refunds. Apple handles purchases, so refund requests go to Apple. A refunded purchase turns Pro off.
- Restoring. The purchase belongs to the Apple ID that bought it. “Restore purchases” in the app brings it back on another device.
Monthly and yearly subscriptions. Pro used to be sold as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription. If you still have one, it keeps renewing through Apple until you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends, in iOS Settings under your name, then Subscriptions. Your Apple ID is charged for each renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends, and after you turn it off you keep Pro until the paid period runs out.
Pro gifts. Sometimes we give Pro at no charge. A gift never charges you.
If Pro ends for any reason, your account and your whole collection stay put. Only the Pro features switch off.
9. Disclaimers and limits of liability
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, the accuracy of prices or show details, and uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
10. Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a meaningful way, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Using the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where the operator lives, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
